Events Sales Executive

About the Role:

We are looking for a driven and strategic Events Sales Executive to expand our portfolio, manage key accounts, and secure high-profile events. The ideal candidate will have experience in event sales, business development, government tenders, and supplier negotiations, with a deep understanding of the Dubai and Abu Dhabi markets across all segments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle existing accounts while actively generating new business opportunities in the corporate, luxury, and government sectors
  • Develop and implement Account Development Plans to achieve sales targets and revenue goals
  • Negotiate and close contracts for events, sponsorships, and partnerships while ensuring profitability
  • Set and attend client meetings, both on-site and off-site, to present customized event solutions
  • Conduct sales calls and venue site inspections, leveraging a valid driving license and own car for client visits
  • Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and emerging business opportunities
  • Lead the preparation and submission of technical and commercial proposals for tenders and government contracts
  • Ensure compliance with tender requirements and submission deadlines while working closely with internal teams
  • Build and maintain relationships with government entities, embassies, and corporate clients to secure long-term contracts
  • Source, negotiate, and manage quotations from suppliers to secure cost-effective and high-quality services
  • Maintain strong supplier relationships and ensure timely delivery of event-related materials and services
  • Oversee procurement and budgeting to maximize cost efficiency without compromising quality
  • Anticipate and manage potential event-day challenges to ensure seamless execution
  • Act as the primary point of contact for VIP guests, assisting with networking and special requirements
  • Deliver exceptional service, ensuring a high level of trust and client satisfaction throughout the event process
  • Provide weekly and monthly reports on sales activities, revenue performance, and market insights
  • Monitor and evaluate account performance to enhance efficiency and maximize client satisfaction
  • Track and report confirmed revenue conversions, ensuring alignment with business objectives
  • Manage sales-related expenses within budget guidelines

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in event sales, business development, or luxury hospitality
  • Strong knowledge of the Dubai and Abu Dhabi markets across all business segments
  • Experience in government and corporate tenders, including proposal writing and submission
  • Strong sales, negotiation, organization, and time management abilities
  • Proficiency in handling supplier quotations and negotiations
  • Excellent English communication skills (Arabic or a second language is a plus)
  • Skilled in Microsoft 365, MS Office, CRM, Canvas, and other business tools
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and a strategic thinker with problem-solving skills
  • Adaptable, proactive, and capable of engaging at all levels
  • Valid driving license and car for conducting sales calls and client visits

Experience:

  • Events Business Development in UAE market: 2 years (Required)
  • Negotiating contracts with clients and service providers: 2 years (Required)
  • Negotiating the best prices from suppliers: 2 years (Required)
  • MENA or UAE market: 2 years (Required)

Event planning, production, and client servicing: 2 years (Required)

Job Type:    Full-time

Pay:   AED4,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
